Full Circle

It's been nine and a half months since I began a new chapter in my life.  I'd be lying if I said it's been easy and I've been able to breeze right through it.  It just ain't so.  It's been a lot of hard work and frustration in the process.  What I can so though is this: Even though I'm not where I want to be yet, it's so worth it!  I am making my way full circle on this journey and happily learning I'm not as broken as I thought I was.

  5. Hi Stephanie,
This is my first week starting DDP and your blog couldn't come at a better time. I am home on sick leave because I lost our baby due to an ovarian ectopic. I return in a week and a half and I'm wondering how I can tackle this emotionally and physically. I've been told for years that I would have problems conceiving due to my pcos, hashimotos and hypothryoid, so when I bought an ovulation kit and conceived on the first go, we were thrilled. I'm not going to lie, I wished that I would've been in better shape for our little one.. now that he/she has slipped, this is my time to get my body in shape before we try in a few months. I gained 60lbs with my thyroid issues, coupled with stress. I've always ate well for the most part but I now see that my portions were off. I've been very depressed with my health.. being extremely exhausted.. having a foggy brain.. never being able to lose weight (i even worked out 2hrs a day with a trainer).. being told I would have a hard time conceiving and then losing the baby. I want to thank you for being so inspiring.. I hope DDP works for me as well. I am starting the intermediate plan and phase 3 diet. I hope to have our future baby in a few months, battle the symptoms from my hormonal issues and get healthy and strong.

    1. I'm so sorry I'm just now responding to your comment. I've been having some serious struggles of late and had pulled away from my blog, etc. If you need anything, please let me know. We will get thru this!

    1. Wow! Thanks Liz! I'm not sore why I haven't been getting my notifications, but I just caught this. Trying to get back on top of things. Is it too late for me to go forward with this?
